A.b. Quintanilla decided to launch his new group.He took about 4 years to get it started because
people were gonna think that he was taking advantage of the tragic death of his sister, la
tejana queen Selena. So it was back in 99' when the Kumbia Kings were in the spotlight launching
their new album titled " Amor,Familia, y Respeto." Having hot singles out like "azucar", "u don't
love me" and "fusites mala" showed the public what these guyz were all about. Two years later,
they came out with their sophomore album titled "Shhh", including hits like "shhh" and "boom
boom", that made people dance.Now, they are just contagious with their original rythym that
makes people dance non-stop. Their music is mixture of cumbia, r&b,reggae,tejano, etc....
The band is composed of 11 members. They're all sexy and talented in theyre own ways. And there
is no one else that can compare to these kingz and theyre style.....!
